Last updated Jul 17, 2023

Tawa Pulao is a popular vegetarian Mumbai street dish. Healthy, easy to make and full of Indian flavors. The main spice in this dish is Pav Bhaji, it is a blend of traditional Indian spices like red chilies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, cinnamon, clove, black cardamom, dry mango powder, fennel seeds and turmeric powder.

Unless you have an Indian grocery store in your area, you will likely not find these spices in your local store, but they are readily available on Amazon.

TIP: You do not have to have tawa to make this dish, we make it in a large skillet.
